HMD Global is gradually looking to focus on feature phones. At the end of 2019, the company launched the Nokia 2720 Flip, which shows that it was a flip phone. Now a new device is looking into development. A fresh report claims that the renders of a new Nokia clampshell (flip) device have surfaced on the FCC.
According to NokiaPowerUser’s report, the renders of a new Nokia device with model number TA-1295 have been listed on the site of the US FCC certification agency. The render of the phone receiving certification shows that it will come with a flip design. The certification does not reveal the main specifications, but it is said that the device will be equipped with nano-SIM slots, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connectivity.
The report further states that the device will support KaiOS. However, it will not support apps like Google Duo. Remind that HMD Global launched the Nokia 2720 Flip in December 2019 and this phone also works on KaiOS. This phone included kai app store and some OTT apps were already installed.
Now the pre-load of Google apps is nowhere to be indicated that the upcoming feature phone can be launched in China, where Google apps are banned. The certification shows that the phone that comes with a folded design will have a single camera and will be equipped with a 1500mAh battery. The model number of this battery will be BV-6A.
