How to make a private story on Snapchat

Snapchat is an American mobile app aiming at Android and iOS devices. One of the principal features of the app is that any photo/video/messages are made available only for a short time duration before they become inaccessible for their receivers. The app mainly focuses on sharing photos/videos in more of a 24-hour chronological event through its principal feature of posting stories.

What Is a Snapchat Story?

A Snapchat story can be any photo/video shared by you by posting it to the Stories feed. Stories stay there for 24 hours and all of your friends can see them as many times as they desire till the duration of the stories gets over. Snapchat automatically deletes the story as soon as the 24-hour time limit is up.

What are “Private Story” on Snapchat?

Private Stories are the snaps added to your story by you for a particular number of friends you want to share those with. It is up to you to select who can view those stories and who cannot. Private Stories have a padlock icon 🔒. These stories are added to your ‘My Story’ tab along with your other stories for the next 24 hrs. Also, no one else can add content to the private stories posted by you. With this feature, Snapchat enables us to post our private content only for our closest friends. Also, the people who were not included as the ‘‘Private Story’’ receivers will have no idea that you have been creating private stories and sharing them with others.

Then there are other features in Snapchat make it so demanding. One of them is the ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature. It is for you to mute notifications from the friends/groups on whom you do not wish to check at that time. All such amazing features make Snapchat a great option to share even mundane moments with your friends in an engaging way.
